Train in the room
where theatre is made.
Four pathways into the craft — for students, working adults, practising artists, and organisations. None are shortcuts. All of them are honest.
Internship Programme
A six-to-twelve-week immersion for students and early-career artists. Work alongside our directors, designers, and production team on a live show — from first read-through to closing night.
BMTC Theatre Training
Weekend workshops in acting craft — voice, body, scene work, and Kannada language theatre traditions. Designed for adults balancing a day job with a love of the stage.
Kalaa Krushi Projects
The umbrella under which we incubate new productions, festivals, and outreach work. Artists, writers, and designers can pitch projects directly to the trust for support.
Corporate Engagements
We design and perform customised skits, road-safety theatre, and team workshops for companies. Past clients include Toyota and other Bengaluru-based firms.
Some of our interns now headline films & television.
Across two decades, several hundred young people have passed through our internship and training programmes. Many returned to non‑theatre careers carrying a deeper gift for listening. Some stayed in the work — and you have seen them on Kannada screens since.
We keep in loose, generous touch with the alumni network. If you trained or interned with us — at any point since 2001 — please write. We would like to know where the work has taken you.
